Grace Huang, DMD, MMSc

Grace Huang grew up in Boston and attended the University of Pennsylvania’s 7-year Bio-Dental program, where she graduated first in her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Matthew Cryer Honor Societies. She returned to Boston to complete her orthodontic training and Master of Medical Science at Harvard University, where she won the Eugene L. Gottlieb Journal of Clinical Orthodontics Award as the nation’s top clinical resident, the first ever from Harvard.

After getting married, Dr. Huang relocated to Houston to join her husband, and she is excited to contribute to the vibrant Houston community.

Dr. Huang’s approach to patient care is rooted in her commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based orthodontic research. She has been recognized with dozens of distinguished academic, research, clinical, and service awards and has presented at the field’s premier national and international conferences. She also currently holds the W. Bonham Magness, DDS Endowed Professorship in Orthodontics and serves as the Predoctoral Orthodontics Program Director at UTHealth Houston.

In her free time, she enjoys attending Rice events with her husband, exploring Houston’s food scene, and singing with her nephews and nieces.
